The life of the Holy Family in Nazareth, simple, always active under the gaze of God, will be their model and the main object of their meditations, Mother Marie-Leonie told her Sisters. Saint Joseph, the Virgin Mary and Jesus were always responsive to God's will to accomplish it on a daily basis. Jesus was par excellence, the loving and faithful servant of God the Father showing us the true face of God who is Love.

Mother Marie-Leonie sought the will of God all her life and drew her strength from daily adoration and the Eucharist. The evangelical image of Jesus washing the apostles' feet characterized her way of serving and her understanding of the dignity of every human person. Any service given by Mother Marie-Leonie helped the other to grow.
